The Davis County Fair Park in Farmington, Utah is the venue for the famed Davis County Fair. This fair is held every year during the third week of August. It is held at the Davis County Event Center. The Davis County Event Center is a large 22,000 square foot multi-purpose building which is home to numerous events throughout the year. The Center houses an indoor equestrian arena, horse stall facilities, two outdoor arenas, many exhibit buildings, and an outdoor grassy area. The building is located just west of the Lagoon Amusement Park and is a great venue for many of the Davis County festivals and exhibitions. Every year, the Davis County Fair is made possible by community donations and business contributions. Every year, Davis County residents and others in the region, flock to Farmington to experience this great annual tradition. The fair provides concerts, cook offs, car shows, carnivals, a demolition derby, equestrian events, fireworks, movie nights, and multiple children's activities. Last year, the Davis County Fair even hosted an All You Can Eat Ice Cream tent for minimal charge (adults were $2 and children were $1). Many satisfied fair goers walked away with full bellies and brain freezes. Every year, the Davis County Fair is made possible by generous donations, vendor participation, and sponsorship. The fair draws much support for the local economy and is a great time for everyone.
