Another popular trail is the Great Western Trail. This expansive trail system links eighteen national forests, as well as Indian and state lands. Altogether, this trail system spans a length of 4,455 miles and crosses through the states of Utah, Arizona, Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana. You cannot visit Salt Lake City without taking time to visit the George S. Eccles Dinosaur Park. This park transports you back to prehistoric times with fossilized marine animals, flying reptiles, and more. The park also boasts recreated specimens of crawlers as well as predators including triceratops, parasaurolophus, utahraptor, tyrannosauras, and more. You will enjoy everything from robotic replicas to actual teeth and bones from the real thing. This park also features a gift shop and restaurant.
The Granger Park is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the great outdoors in the heart of the city. Whether you're enjoying a picnic, taking a jog, or hiking, you will have a great time enjoying the beautiful weather and beautiful scenery of Granger Park. This park is often used for special events, including the popular Annual Native American Association Festival and Contest Pow Wow in August.
