In January, the Kimball Art Center hosts one of the film-making industry's biggest events, the Sundance Film Festival. This world famous event was founded in 1981 by Robert Redford, and brings together a talented group of independent film makers, screenwriters, composers, writers, and more for almost two full weeks of film screenings, parts, and other special events centered around film.
